Data-minimising default configuration

• The website currently uses no audience analytics, advertising trackers, or profiling services.
• There is currently no newsletter form and no subscriber data is stored.
• Fonts, logos, screenshots, and preview images are served locally.
• No first-party cookies that are not technically necessary are set.
• Optional Steam and YouTube content is blocked by default and loaded only after an explicit choice.

Before analytics, a newsletter, contact form, consent management, or further external services are introduced, this policy must be updated and the relevant legal basis implemented technically.

Steam store content

An official Steam store widget can be loaded on the Craftlings page and in individual articles. It is initially blocked. A connection to Valve is established only when you select “Load Steam content”.

Your IP address, browser and device information, time, requested resource, and embedding page address may be transferred to Valve. Valve may use cookies or comparable technologies under its own responsibility. ARIANO Games receives no personal usage profiles from the widget.

YouTube videos

The Craftlings trailer is initially shown only as a locally stored preview image. The more privacy-friendly YouTube-nocookie player is loaded and a connection to Google or YouTube is established only after “Load gameplay trailer” is selected.

The IP address, browser and device information, time, page viewed, and video interactions may be processed. If you are signed in to Google, this information may be associated with your account.

If you contact us by email, we process the details you provide to handle and answer your request. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR where a contract or pre-contractual measures are concerned; otherwise Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the proper handling of enquiries.

The info@arianogames.com mailbox is operated as part of the STRATO hosting product. The data is deleted when the enquiry has been fully resolved and no statutory retention, evidence, or limitation periods prevent deletion. Recipients may include STRATO as the email and hosting provider and persons within ARIANO Games involved in handling the request.
